kel smith

One of a kind handwoven and handmade goods made from recycled materials.

Wood Street features the work of Kel Smith, a self-taught weaver, sewer, and maker. Wood Street is a testing ground, featuring prototypes to finished products of items made from materials headed to the landfill. Scrap fabric, unused yarn stashes, ripped jeans, and more all find their way into these unique handcrafted bespoke items as beautiful yet functional art.

If you’re interested in any of the pieces below, send me a note or see what’s available at https://www.woodstreetweaving.com. Prices are always sliding scale or barter and I’m also happy to take custom orders. Items can be found weekly at the Owen Sound Farmer’s Market.
